Public Apology Statement
Following an internal review and deeper reflection, we have decided to take down our initial blog post related to our OSINT investigation, which was published in the wake of the CNSS Morocco hack. This decision was made both in response to legal action and due to the highly sensitive national context at the time.
We want to make it clear that the blog was explicitly presented as an initial publication based entirely on publicly available data. It did not claim to reach any final conclusions, nor did it intend to assign blame or make accusations. The primary objective was to contribute to public awareness and collaborative investigation efforts during a national cybersecurity crisis.
As was clearly stated in the original post:
“Once again, we want to emphasize that we are not accusing anyone. Mr. Rachid is only a detail in the path and nothing is confirmed about him. Remember, this is purely public data collection, and anyone is welcome to gather the same information and contribute to this effort.”
Despite these clarifications, we have been contacted by multiple Moroccan government entities requesting the removal of the blog and the submission of all collected data to assist with the ongoing investigation. We have fully complied with these requests and continue to cooperate transparently and in good faith.
We would also like to respectfully request that all media outlets and individuals who quoted, reposted, or referenced our blog—especially those who did so inaccurately—remove their related content. These materials no longer reflect the current status of the situation and may unintentionally contribute to misinformation. We ask that any future references be based on this official updated statement.
Additionally, we would like to publicly and sincerely apologize to any person who been harased by media who didnt understood out osint., for any harm, distress, or misunderstanding caused. The Hack4Living team deeply regrets any unintended consequences resulting from the publication.
It is important to emphasize that we do not take responsibility for any actions, interpretations, or third-party content beyond our original blog post. Any derivative claims, reposts, or unrelated uses of the data or narrative fall outside our control and intent.
We affirm that there was never any intention to defame, target, or cause damage to anyone especialy Mr. Rachid M., and we hope that our transparency, cooperation with authorities, and removal of the content reflect that clearly. We are committed to upholding responsible and ethical standards in our work going forward and will continue to engage constructively with any parties involved.
We couldn’t move forward with this investigation because the media and many people began accusing and directly targeting the profiles mentioned in the article. We do not believe in or align with these accusations, so we decided to stop here for the sake of everyone’s well-being. Thank you.
بعد مراجعة داخلية وتأمل أعمق، قررنا سحب التدوينة الأولى المتعلقة بالتحقيق في
OSINT، التي نُشرت عقب اختراق CNSS في المغرب. تم اتخاذ هذا القرار ردًا على الإجراءات القانونية وبسبب السياق الوطني الحساس في ذلك الوقت.
نود أن نوضح أن التدوينة كانت قد تم تقديمها بوضوح كمنشور أولي يعتمد تمامًا على البيانات المتاحة علنًا. لم تكن تدعي الوصول إلى أي استنتاجات نهائية، ولم تكن تهدف إلى توجيه اللوم أو تقديم اتهامات. كان الهدف الأساسي هو المساهمة في زيادة الوعي العام وجهود التحقيق التعاوني خلال أزمة الأمن السيبراني الوطنية.
كما تم التأكيد بوضوح في المنشور الأصلي:
“مرة أخرى، نود أن نؤكد أننا لا نتهم أحدًا. السيد رشيد هو مجرد تفصيل في الطريق ولا شيء مؤكد عنه. تذكروا، هذه مجرد جمع للبيانات العامة، وأي شخص مرحب به لجمع نفس المعلومات والمساهمة في هذه الجهود.”
على الرغم من هذه التوضيحات، تم الاتصال بنا من قبل عدة جهات حكومية مغربية تطلب إزالة التدوينة وتقديم جميع البيانات المجمعة للمساعدة في التحقيق الجاري. لقد امتثلنا بالكامل لهذه الطلبات ونواصل التعاون بشفافية وبحسن نية.
كما نود أن نطلب بكل احترام من جميع وسائل الإعلام والأفراد الذين اقتبسوا أو أعدوا نشر أو أشاروا إلى تدوينتنا — وخاصة أولئك الذين فعلوا ذلك بشكل غير دقيق — إزالة المحتوى المتعلق. هذه المواد لم تعد تعكس الوضع الحالي وقد تساهم عن غير قصد في نشر المعلومات المضللة. نطلب أن تكون أي إشارات مستقبلية مبنية على هذا البيان الرسمي المحدث.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نود أن نقدم اعتذارنا علنًا وبصدق لأي شخص تعرض للتحرش من وسائل الإعلام التي لم تفهم عملنا في OSINT، عن أي ضرر أو إزعاج أو سوء فهم ناتج عن ذلك. فريق Hack4Living يأسف بشدة لأي عواقب غير مقصودة ناتجة عن النشر.
من المهم التأكيد أننا لا نتحمل مسؤولية أي أفعال أو تفسيرات أو محتوى من طرف ثالث خارج نطاق تدوينتنا الأصلية. أي ادعاءات أو إعادة نشر أو استخدام غير متعلق بالبيانات أو السرد يقع خارج نطاق سيطرتنا ونوايانا.
نؤكد أنه لم تكن هناك أي نية للتشهير أو استهداف أو إلحاق الضرر بأي شخص، وخاصة السيد رشيد م، ونأمل أن تعكس شفافيتنا وتعاوننا مع السلطات وإزالة المحتوى ذلك بوضوح. نحن ملتزمون بالتمسك بالمعايير المسؤولة والأخلاقية في عملنا في المستقبل وسنستمر في التفاعل بشكل بناء مع أي أطراف معنية.
لم نتمكن من المضي قدمًا في هذا التحقيق لأن وسائل الإعلام والكثير من الناس بدأوا في اتهام واستهداف الملفات الشخصية المذكورة في المقال. نحن لا نؤمن بهذه الاتهامات ولا نوافق عليها، لذلك قررنا التوقف هنا من أجل مصلحة الجميع. شكرًا.
